Alliance members work to protect forests in their communities with the collective goal to protect 4.5 million hectares of high carbon stock and high biodiversity value forests of the Guinea Forest hotspot, and support over 20,000 rural households across West and Central Africa — working to demonstrate project pilots and scalable conservation projects across the major wetlands.
